Raspberry Picking & More

We went raspberry picking with some friends. It was so beautiful! And a lot of fun. We are still enjoying our homemade jam! Yum Yum!!
Run! run! run!

Dallin enjoyed it the most. He was very excited the whole time and was a great picker! (of raspberries of coarse)

Isaac was very proud....

and protective of his raspberries.

Landen was a trooper! He sat in his stroller the whole time and was happy, as you can tell.
Hmm? Do I like raspberries?

That would be a yes!

Gotta play in the dirt before we head home!

-Next, Some random pictures

The neighbor boy got some cool birthday presents that Isaac is enjoying

Isaac came running upstairs, "Mom I'm O and this is Q!" They wore them around most of the day!

I caught peekaboo in action! Who says you need a camcorder?

Landen often plays in the kitchen when I'm making dinner. Grabbing the towel for a game of peekaboo has become his favorite ritual.

King Family Reunion

I had an outstanding time with family in McCall Idaho for a family reunion. We stayed in condos by Payette Lake. I had tons of fun white water rafting, riding jet skis, swimming, playing board games, talking, laughing, relaxing, and playing. The only major down side was Nate, Dallin, and Isaac were not with me. I am so appreciative of my husband for taking work off to be with Dallin and Isaac so I could go. It was a much needed break for me. I had so much fun. I took 9 month old Landen with me. He was a great traveler. We flew into Boise where I had a short stay with Jeanne (Nate's mom). I got to see Jana, Heidi's family, and Brandon & JaNell's family while I was there. What a great vacation! I can't wait to do it again, next time with all my family, I sure missed them.
p.s. I have a lot of pictures but not nearly as much as I wanted. I'm missing pictures of the rafting and pictures of the whole family with everyone together. Hopefully I will get those soon!

Happy 4th!

We had a great Fourth of July! The boys were so excited to see fire works. We went to the Rochester Hills fire work show. It was so fun. The park had jumping castles and slides, and roller skates you could use, all for free! Dallin tried roller skates for the first time. Didn't do too well, but hey, he had fun. I was nervous about Landen being up so late, I thought maybe I could get him to sleep walking around in the stroller with him before the fireworks started. But he didn't come close. He enjoyed every minute of it. I was amazed out well he did. He was in awe at the fireworks, just stared with big eyes. He finally fell asleep on the walk back to the car.

Getting ready for the fireworks!

The crowd is our ward. We all met in the same spot for the firework show. They are our family away from family. Thank goodness for the church!

Showing off (trying) their flags and glow sticks

When we were trying to figure out how we were going to carry all our stuff and three boys from the car to the park (about a mile walk) Dallin came up with a solution -

A few days later Nate, Dallin and Isaac camped out in the backyard. It was their first tent experience. They did really well! Nate said they all woke up about 2am and were cold, when Nate asked them if they wanted to go inside they assured him they did NOT! And they quickly went back to sleep!

On Friday, the 4th, we spent the day at the beach, 20 minutes away! It was heaven! The lake was beautiful, the beach was true sand, there were grassy shady areas, and the weather was perfect. We will be going back for sure!

(He's just waking up in this picture, he still falls asleep anytime we're in the car in the afternoon)

Isaac ready to party at the lake!

Landen loved the sand! He only ate it once!

No thanks mom, don't need the hat.

Playhouse Project

The little playhouse in our backyard needed a little fixing up. We let the boys choose the colors, they wanted blue and yellow. Our landlord offered to buy the paint. It wasn't quite the blue we had in mind, but oh well, it's a playhouse right. It was fun for the boys to paint their own house!
