A Baby Blessing

Jared was blessed on September 27th. We didn't get many pictures because he was not too happy and the family wasn't all together for most of the day so we didn't get the family pictures we were hoping for. But here are a couple of Jared. He looked pretty darn cute.

It meant so much to me to have 2 of my sisters come visit and help. I was expecting Falycia. While picking her up at the airport I was shocked to see Charisa following behind! What a fun surprise! We had a great time together. I feel so bad for not getting pictures (what were we thinking?!) and not being able to go out and do more things. But it was great to just be together. Thanks so much for coming girls! I love you!

Jared is 1 Month

Landen loves Jared! He asks to hold him all the time. He will sit and hold him for about 5 minutes sometimes!

First Day of School

Kindergartener!

The plan has always been to start Isaac in school in 2010. He turns 5 in November. In Michigan he is eligible for kindergarten this year. Just about everywhere else, he is not. We opted to do begindergarten, a pre-k program for those young 5s. However, after attending the first day, we did not feel good about the teacher and classroom and decided to put him in kindergarten. He loves it and is doing very well. He has suddenly grown up on me! I was not prepared to have my Isaac be a kindergartener and I must say I agree whole heartedly with what he said, "Mom I can't believe we have two kids in school now!"

Detroit Tigers

Dallin and Isaac finally made it to a Tigers game with dad. They sat through the entire game and loved it!

Grandmas Make Great Guests

While Grandma King was here we enjoyed great meals, a clean house 24/7, finished laundry, babysitting, and more! Dallin and Isaac LOVE their new transformer shirts from grandma!





Jared got a cute new outfit too





The kids had a great time at the Zoo, while mom had a great time resting at home!

Our Newest Bundle of Joy

Jared Ricks was born August 19th - 8lbs. 5 oz. 21 1/2 inches long.

We are so happy to have him here. His brothers are very excited and love holding him. Even Landen (so far)! Jared is a name we have always liked and for some reason really fit this one well. We knew it was his name. His middle name, Ricks, is after some of Nate's ancestors. Joel Ricks crossed the plains with the mormon pioneers. His son Thomas Ricks, led the settlement the town of Rexburg, Idaho, and started Ricks College. Nate was named after Nathan Ricks, Joel's youngest son.
