Jared Ricks was born August 19th - 8lbs. 5 oz. 21 1/2 inches long.
We are so happy to have him here. His brothers are very excited and love holding him. Even Landen (so far)! Jared is a name we have always liked and for some reason really fit this one well. We knew it was his name. His middle name, Ricks, is after some of Nate's ancestors. Joel Ricks crossed the plains with the mormon pioneers. His son Thomas Ricks, led the settlement the town of Rexburg, Idaho, and started Ricks College. Nate was named after Nathan Ricks, Joel's youngest son.

Hurray! How exciting. The name is really cute. Plus, I love Ricks College!!! We have 6 weeks till our baby boy arrives. Enjoy those newborn snuggles.
