Lego Land
The boys are big fans of legos and have been waiting a long time to see LegoLand. It was so much fun to be there. It is amazing what thousands of little legos can make! Dallin's new answer to "what do you want to be when you grow up?" is, "I want to build legos for LegoLand"
This picture was taken at the end of our day at the water park. Nate was home sick. Landen and Jared were being babysat by some terriffic aunts, and Grandma and Grandpa. Emily's family had already left. So, Savannah took the picture of just me, Dallin, and Isaac.

Dallin, Savannah, Isaac with a father and son made out of legos.

The lady telling Nate he's not allowed to have someone on his lap!
Landen did not like that rule!!

One of our favorite stops was the bionicle room. They got to build their own bionicle and watch some of the movie. D & I each bought one with some money from Grandma Jeanne. Since we have been home they have been in their room, all day every day (I'm not exagerating) playing with bionicles.

Sea World
Sea World was awesome! It was amazing to see the dophins, killer whales, sea lions and other animals work with the trainers. They put on some great shows for us. I didn't get great pictures this entire trip, which I'm pretty disappointed about, but here's an idea of some of the things we saw.

Moving
We've moved! Hats off to anyone who has ever moved with 4 young children! It is quite the feat, and one I am glad to have almost over with. It turned out that our basement actually wasn't completely done before we moved in. So everything that should be in the basement is still in the living room and we're still working on organizing and unpacking the last few boxes. Besides the unpacking, we are loving it here. The boys are having so much with their new neighborhood friends. It is the friendliest neighborhood I have ever known! About six families have dropped by to introduce themselves and welcome us to the neighborhood. It has been great.
I also have to give a huge thank you to all who helped us in this overwhelming task. Callie babysat my kids so Nate and I could go paint. Heather came over with her teenagers who watched my kids while she helped me pack - she packed my entire kitchen! Kaylee and Amy made meals for our family while we were in transit. A whole slew of men from church came and helped us load the truck, Babs and Kaylee showed up with them unexpectedly to help me clean. And then another whole slew of men from our new church came and helped us unload into the new house. Men we had never met. The church is amazing, I seriously don't know how I would get along without it. We appreciate all the help so much - thanks everyone!
I don't have too many pictures. There are a few more in the previous post. I could say "I'll post more later" but I'm going to say, you'll have to come visit us to see more :)

Working on our New Home!
It's true! We are finally homeowners! We bought a cute 4 bedroom cape cod home in Novi Michigan. We LOVE the location. We are 5 minutes from Nate's work, in a great neighborhood, with top notch schools. We are very excited.
The basement is completely unfinished. I am a mom who really doesn't want to learn how to survive with 4 boys and no basement, so we are finishing it. We hired contractors who are now in the process. We did some painting too, and hope to be able to do some updating to the kitchen eventually. We will move in on July 10th. When everything is done - hopefully!
This is Jared's room (before) minus the hideous curtains we removed.

The basement is coming along. This will be the family room and a game room/exercise equip. to the left of it.

We also painted the bathroom which was a bright mauve, and is now a restful light green.
